Patients at risk for heart disease may benefit by eating dark chocolate. This is reported in Bristish Medical Journal (BMJ). Chocolate has to be dark and contain at least 60 – 70 % of chocolate or formulated to be enriched with polyphenos. Eating dark chocolate also has blood pressure reducing and lipid lowering effects. It is a less expensive way of protecting your heart.
