Deep vein thrombosis more likely on occupying window seat in aircraft

In an interesting observation, researchers found that deep vein thrombosis during or after air travel tended to occur more in patients occupying the window seat in the aircraft than in the aisle seat. This is because passengers in the aisle seat move often whereas the window seat passengers do not move as much.
